Give yourself a stress-free Christmas

For many, December and Christmas time are the time when you prioritize yourself and your training the least, with the consequence that you lose even more energy and the risk of getting sick increases. In fact, this may be the time when you really need to shore up all the stress of "everything that has to be done before Christmas" with an everyday moment for yourself!

It is actually the case that exercise prevents stress, in several different ways because when you steer or when you exercise, the amount of adrenaline and cortisol in the body increases. After you have exercised, the stress system relaxes again in your body and the secretion of stress hormones decreases. Exercise thus "burns" stress hormones.

Regular exercise is positive for sleep for most people. Sleep is important to avoid and recover from stress.

So there are many reasons to keep exercising, and let it be part of everyday life, perhaps especially important in stressful times.

The biggest reason for many to skip training is precisely that it becomes too complicated, you have to book a session at a gym and then you have to get there and home, and suddenly you've put in two hours and it can be time you don't always have have. So the best tip we can give is to just get out there, a good podcast or music in your ears and take a brisk walk/jog for 30-45 min! Effective and no frills, and you get fresh air and hopefully some natural vitamin D too!

So in the midst of all the Christmas stress, take and invest in a moment for YOU where you get to move and feel good, you'll get it back a hundred times over!

Take time to unwind during the holidays

Take time to unwind during the holidays

Are you also bombarded right now by flyers about how to get in shape and the like during the holidays? It can certainly be a great time for many to focus on exercise and health, but can also become another stress factor and then only increase the amount of cortisol (stress hormone) and thus the exercise only has a negative effect. It is easy to actually become more stressed during the holidays, a lot of expectations, trips, children around you all the time, dinners to be arranged, thoughts about the appearance of the body and the performance requirements increase as the weather may not be perfect... PUHHH!

Get into a very good habit that can make a big difference to your health and stress level.
- Did you know that 70% of your energy comes from your breathing, if you don't breathe deeply for a whole day, the body misses 5,000 liters of oxygenated blood - a day! Imagine 5,000 milk packets with oxygenated blood that your organs must have in order to function optimally!

You can do this exercise anywhere
Make sure you step away from the mess for 10 minutes every day.
Sit or lie comfortably. This is YOUR luxury therapy, alone time for the soul and mind that also needs a little vacation.
Focus on your breath
Take deep breaths, breathing in through the nose and counting to 3 and breathing out through the nose and counting to 6.
Think of something you're grateful for and something you're looking forward to.
Place your hands on your stomach so that you feel it lower and rise, not your upper chest.
In addition to this, go for long walks by the water or in the forest 3 times a week.
Did you know that just walking can add years to your lifespan and keep your brain young and healthy?

Facts Cortisol & adrenal glands
The adrenal glands have several tasks, one of which is to produce enough of the stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol is released during stress, when we eat things that increase our blood sugar, when we exercise and when we wake up in the morning. Cortisol also keeps inflammation down and controls bowel movements. With long-term stress and excessive release of the stress hormone cortisol, we strain the function of the adrenal glands, and eventually they can no longer release the required amounts of cortisol. At this stage, we often have difficulty waking up in the morning, are tired in the morning, are tired in the afternoon and/or are alert in the evening. We also have a poorer ability to cope with inflammation, and if inflammation occurs in the body, cortisol needs to be supplied from the outside as cortisone, as we are unable to release enough on our own.

Aromatherapy to help our organs
Essential oils are both fragrance and function and have been used since the beginnning of time to create perfumes and for their natural medicinal effects. You mix them yourself in neutral body oil, in a sauna, in the bath or in an aroma lamp.
Essential oils are extracted from the leaves of a flower, the peel of a fruit or other plant parts and are packed with healing energy and give the plant its fragrance, as well as protect the plant against attack by bacteria and fungi.
100% genuine essential oil blends for optimal effect!

Find the energy with exercise and strengthen your mental health!

Find the energy with exercise-
and boost your mental health!

Are you like many others at this time of year eager to find your way back to training after the holidays? Rest and time off in all its glory, but it's also easy to lose energy and feel tired and sluggish when you've gotten out of your good habits and routines. The fact is also that exercise has good effects on our mental health, more and more prescribe exercise on prescription, as it is proven that the right kind of exercise for you can help you out of depression and low mood.

5 reasons why exercise  is good for you
1. You will be happier!
When you exercise, your body releases endorphins that make you feel euphoric and happy. This is why physical exercise is highly recommended to people suffering from depression. Now you may not feel depressed at all, but if you are hungover and tired, you can easily cure it with a little more endorphin boost.

2. You become less stressed
For the same reason that you become happier, it is precisely the endorphins that help lower the stress hormone cortisol, which balances your mind and reduces anxiety and worry.

3. You get better self-esteem
If you have trouble accepting yourself, practice! It will help you see yourself in a better light, and you will feel better. You will also project the best version of yourself to others.

4. You get better memory
Exercise and movement increase the production of cells in the hippocampus, which is responsible for memory and learning. You remember things more efficiently and have a much easier time learning different things.

5. You will be much more productive
You might think that exercise would make you more tired, and that you would then perform worse at work or in other activities, but it is actually quite the opposite! Exercise helps you have more energy and makes you more focused and active throughout the day.

5 Tips for getting started with training

1. Do what you think is fun!
It's much easier to create good habits with something you think is fun. Dragging yourself away to something you don't really want doesn't work in the long run. So what do you think is fun? Dancing, cycling, running or gym? Maybe join a raven team and play football, floorball or are long forest walks your thing?

2. Bring a friend
Having someone to train with makes the whole thing so much more fun and also harder to pull out of when you have an appointment with someone. With a training buddy you motivate each other and get quality time with each other!

3. Set goals
Even if you don't want to do an Iron Man within a year but "just" want to move more to feel better, it's always beneficial to set goals, big or small. Write down exactly how you want it to feel for you when you are harmonious and balanced.

4. Challenge yourself
You are much stronger than you think - both mentally and physically! So dare to challenge yourself, and grow as a person. Maybe you can run a little during your walks, or dare to go for that workout that looks impossible. The benefits are many for both body and soul!

5. Why?

Last but certainly not least, you need to find out why you want to start/train more. Is it because everyone else is doing it and you feel you have to? Or because you really want to get fitter, lower stress hormones in your body or get better fitness and help your heart feel good for a long time? Write down your why and use it when you set your goals, it doesn't have to be complicated at all, keep it simple!

Kick start autumn with a detox!

Kick start autumn with Easy Detox!

Do you feel that your body needs a restart before the autumn challenges?
Detoxing helps you strengthen your immune system, clear out toxins, become healthier and have more beautiful and cleaner skin. A Detox regimen can be what the body needs to get back into balance. With the Easy Detox box, you have everything you need to really "detox" the body in a gentle and actually really tasty way!

"Giving the body a real boost of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in the form of the most uncomplicated products can be your best investment in yourself this autumn"

Why Easy Detox?
A short period of detox can help you break negative habits and make it easier to eat healthier. It is a good way to cleanse the body off sugar, which easily creates an addiction in the body, which makes it much easier to eat healthier after a course than before. Most people feel much less sugar cravings after a course and it is much easier to choose healthier options and stop snacking.

When you detox, you clean out excess waste products from the cells via lymph, skin, breathing, urine and feces. If we continuously expose our bodies to a lot of industrial food or other processed food, fast calories, toxins and pollution, it becomes difficult for the cells to get rid of the waste products. They are not detoxified properly and the body is littered. This "garbage of the body" increases the risk of getting sick.
Illness is ultimately a reaction to overload in the system, to inflammation and inhibited energy flow.

Easy Detox Box
The box contains products for, for example, two three-day fasts a month
x three months for two people! Then you also have a lot of products left to use when your detox is over, to incorporate your new good habits into everyday life.
